چکیده

An experiment on “Effect of Plant growth regulators fruit yield and quality Mango (Mangifera indica L.) cv. Amrapali” was conducted at the research plot, College Horticulture, Chiplima during year 2020-21 by using Randomized Block Design with three replications ten treatments. Three concentrations NAA i.e. 10, 20 30 ppm, GA3 ppm 2,4-D were applied pea marble stage fruit. Research work held 07 years old plants mango Amrapali. Highest weight (263.21g), total 18.34 kg per plant recorded under T7. The minimum (4.41 plant) T1 (Control). highest number fruits plant(69.67) (18.34 ) treatment T7 (30 foliar application GA3). maximum TSS: acid ratio (115.81) obtained T10 concentration 2,4-D) which known to be superior from all other (55.00) estimated T1. Ascorbic content Amrapali ranged 39.34 mg/100g (T10) 55.97 (T1). sugar (14.99 %) in (2,4-D ppm) while lowest (10.42 applications showed ascorbic (55.97 mg/100g), (39.34 mg/100 g) It is concluded that (Gibberellic acid) found optimum best results increasing

The present study was aimed to determine the effect of foliar application of micronutrients (Fe, B and Zn) on the quality of mango (Mangifera indica L.) cv. Dusehri plants. For this purpose, 21 healthy, full bearing and mature (20-25 years old) trees were subjected to foliar application of different combinations of FeSO4, H3BO3 and ZnSO4 before flowering and at full bloom stage. Data on enterobacteria activity on biofilm formation at surface mango fruit (Mangifera indica L.) cv Ataulfo

Abiotic factors influenced the capacity of the strains to form biofilms. Classification of the adhesion type is related with the optical density measured on the biofilm formation of tested strains. The relationship between the biofilm formation in real values with theoretical values of the strains was used to determine the mechanism involved during mixed cultures.

Abscission and Ethylene Production in Mango (mangifera Indica L) Fruit Cv. Tommy Atkins1

Rates of fruit drop and remaining fruited pan icles were monitored in the field for 96 days beginning on April 1, 1983. More than 90% of total fruit drop occurred within the first 4 wk, and final fruit set was 0.61%. Per centage of fruited panicles remained constant for the first 3 wk, decreasing sharply to 40% by the 6th week, and ending at 11.7% at harvest. Of the fruit which reached maturity...

Postharvest Quality of Mango (mangifera Indica L.) Fruit as Affected by Chitosan Coating

The effect of coating with irradiated Crab and Shrimp chitosan (CHIirr, Mv = 5.14 × 104) and un-irradiated Crab chitosan (CHIun, Mv = 2.61 × 105) on postharvest preservation of mango (Mangifera indica L.) fruit was studied. Irradiation at 100 kGy and 200 kGy of both Crab chitosan and Shrimp chitosan were used and the fruits were stored at 15°C ± 1°C and 85% relative humidity for 6 weeks. The ef...
